- 1 sheet of puff pastry (or flatbread if homemade style)
- Slices of ham, bacon, or prosciutto
- Shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or mixed cheese)
- Fresh parsley or spinach leaves
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional: black pepper, garlic powder

- Prepare the Filling:
- Wash and chop fresh parsley or spinach.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded cheese and herbs. Add a bit of black pepper or garlic powder if desired.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Cut the puff pastry into long rectangles (about 2–3 inches wide).
- On each strip, place a slice of ham or bacon.
- Add a spoonful of the cheese mixture over the meat.
- Fold the strip in half lengthwise (over the filling), then twist it gently to create the spiral shape (as shown in the first image).
- Bake:
- Place the twisted wraps on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush the tops of the twists with the egg wash.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
