Ingredients
- 3 to 4 ripe bananas
- 200g biscuits (like tea biscuits or digestive biscuits)
- 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 200ml milk
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50g melted butter
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
- In a baking dish, arrange peeled bananas and biscuits.
- In a saucepan, mix milk, sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the bananas and biscuits. Let it cool slightly.
Step 2: Make the Crumb Topping
- Crush the remaining biscuits into fine crumbs and mix them with melted butter.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the top of the dessert.
Step 3: Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set completely.
- Slice and enjoy!
