Ingredients:

Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs Recipe

3 pounds pork side ribs (about 2 racks)

2 (12-ounce) cans of root beer

2 cups barbecue sauce

1 teaspoon each of salt and pepper

Instructions:

Remove the silver skin from the ribs’ back. A spoon’s back helps to slide underneath, then peel off using fingers.

Season ribs with salt and pepper.

Lay the ribs in a 6-quart slow cooker in a single layer.

Pour root beer over the ribs.

Cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3 hours.

Remove ribs, discard the liquid, then return ribs to the slow cooker.

Coat ribs thoroughly with barbecue sauce.

Cook on high for another hour.

To Serve: Carefully transfer the ribs to a serving plate. Pair with the sauce and dive into a flavorful culinary journey.

Enjoy!
