Put steak and onion soup mix in a slow cooker. You’ll be amazed by how delicious it is.

Ingredients:

Slow Cooker Steak Soup Recipe

2 pounds (1 kg) sirloin tip steak, cubed (1-inch)

1/4 cup (35 g) flour

1 teaspoon (7 g) salt

1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground pepper

1 envelope (1 ounce, 28 g) dry onion soup mix

2 quarts beef broth

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce

2 cups (200 g) ditalini pasta, cooked per package instructions

Instructions:

Begin by placing the steak cubes in the slow cooker. Sprinkle over the flour, salt, and pepper, tossing until the steak is evenly coated.

To this mixture, add the dry onion soup mix, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine.

Cover the slow cooker and set to cook on low for 8 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the meat to become fork-tender.

After 8 hours, remove the lid and add the cooked noodles, stirring to combine. Continue cooking for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, or until the noodles are heated through.

This Slow Cooker Steak Soup is a tribute to the timeless flavors of a traditional pot roast, now reimagined in a comforting, spoonable form. Whether served simply or dressed up with your favorite toppings and sides, it’s a dish that promises warmth and satisfaction with every bite.

Enjoy!
